AMA with Sasha 15/12/23
Another week, another AMA session with the Waves’ founder Sasha Ivanov. This week, Sasha has prepared some updates on the ecosystem progress, answered lots of questions and had a live dialogue with the community members. Key Points:
- As you already know, we are launching the L2 blockchain ecosystem early next year. And with that comes a massive marketing campaign, as well as the L2MP airdrop… which we wanted to start this week, but we're still in talks with a number of marketing agencies. We are also preparing a new website for the L2 blockchain ecosystem.
- I also want to remind you that Ambassador DAO is now open for new members. So I advise everyone to take part if you don't want to miss the opportunity to earn 10% monthly income, while being an active member of our community.
Q & A
Q: Are there any updates on Neutrino Index?
Sasha: I think we will see some news before the new year. The development and conceptualization of Neutrino Index itself is almost complete, but since the initial launch is planned on the Ethereum network, we will need a serious marketing campaign.
Q: What about Vires.Finance relaunch?
Sasha: Regarding Numeris, at the moment, it still hasn't been funded. But in case the XTN amount that needs to be raised to launch Numeris DAO is not reached, I think we will get funding in other ways, so in any case, we will find a way to launch the project! Maybe next week I'll do another AMA on Numeris. I think it might help fill the treasury of Numeris DAO.
Q: How can L2MP help the XTN buyout?
Sasha: Well, it's pretty simple! Don't forget that right now you can exchange XTN for L2MP at a 1:1 ratio. And the projected price of L2MP (after the realization of its mining) is expected to be around $0.20 - $0.30. Taking into account that XTN price will be lower, the 1:1 exchange function will become profitable, there will be people willing to take advantage of it and the arbitrage will help to increase the XTN price.
Q: When will people be able to commit PWR tokens to already launched Child DAOs?
Sasha: Between the end of the current DAO KPI period and the start of the new one, you have about a week to commit or withdraw your $PWR tokens from the DAO. If you are interested in a specific DAO, for instance, you want to withdraw or commit new tokens, Ambassador DAO is available right now!
How to commit tokens? Just go to the page of this DAO and commit PWR tokens if you have them in staking.
Q: Will all Unit blockchains support EVM?
Sasha: Yes, by running your blockchain in Unit's ecosystem, you will be able to utilize EVM.
Q: Is there a plan on SURF yet?
Sasha: Yes, we are still planning to implement SURF swap into L2MP, and the problem was that we needed to calculate a fair price at which we could make this swap. With the help of one of our community members, this price was calculated, so I think the swap will be available soon. We are also looking into the possibility of swapping into L2MP for -WXG asset holders. It is quite possible that next week, this option will be available.
Q: After Waves 2.0 launches, will there be use for the WAVES token?
Sasha: Of course, even after L2 is launched, all WAVES functionality on L1 will be retained. A new functionality will be created exclusively for L2.
Q: I have noticed that the XTN supply is gradually decreasing. Why is this happening?
Sasha: At the moment, there is an XTN buyout going on. Its goal is to reduce the supply by burning.
Q: Sasha, do you have any plans to launch Sypheon Online on Waves?
Sasha: Yes, the founder of this project is an active member of our Turkish community and he has already contacted me about it. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to reply yet, but I will definitely discuss the situation with him and try to help him launch his project. As far as I remember, he needed funding and Waves DAO can help with that.
Q: Any news on the withdrawal of XTN from the Ethereum network?
Sasha: I will try to check with the WX.Network team shortly to clarify the status of this situation.
Q: What if we don't manage to make the conversion of Vires.Finance deposits to L2MP in time?
Sasha: You will have the option to convert to XTN through vesting.
Q: Why does the WX team still continue to post proposals through the WX governance instead of WX DAO?
Sasha: They want to implement WX DAO in the WX.Network interface, and WXP-009 will be the last proposal in the old governance interface.
