Another week, another AMA session with the Waves’ founder Sasha Ivanov. This week, Sasha has prepared some updates on the ecosystem progress, answered lots of questions and had a live dialogue with the community members. Key Points:

• The Units Network gateways have already received their full functionality on StageNet and will soon be added to TestNet along with the corresponding quests on Zealy and you will be able to start testing them.
• Also a number of happenings around L2MP: new listings and a long awaited listing on the Solana blockchain.
• Today is the launch of the Units Network marketing activity among the Korean community. You will see video content from the Influencers very soon.
• And along with this we now have new people in charge of Business Development, so we can expect a number of announcements in the near future.

Q & A

Q: How’s the situation with the $PWR that was withdrawn on KuCoin? 

Sasha: The situation with these funds is being resolved, we have managed to identify the perpetrator and are now considering the appropriate ways to recover the funds.

Q: When will it be possible to make transactions with fiat funds on Waves?

Sasha: I think this question should be addressed to the PEPE Team, as they are currently responsible for the Waves network gateways. They are planning to implement such functionality, but we can find an alternative provider of this service if necessary.

Q: Will Units Network be working with Turkish Influencers?

Sasha: Yes, I think it makes sense to do a similar KOL campaign for the Turkish community.

Q: When will the Units Network DAO launch?

Sasha: It will launch immediately on the Units Network release.

Q: What is the main difference between Units Network and other similar projects?

Sasha: It's all about infrastructure, we want to be the first to provide the ability to create a blockchain tightly connected to an existing and working infrastructure. This is how we see the L2 narrative evolving.

Q: When can we expect the XTN situation to be resolved? 

Sasha: I think it's most reasonable to expect this after the release of Units Network.

Q: And this release can be expected in September?

Sasha: Yes, that's right!

Q: Do you think WAVES will be listed on the major exchanges anytime soon?

Sasha: I think the listing itself can be very dangerous if you're interested in price growth. it's worth considering, and probably WAVES listings should be expected in the future.
