AMA with Sasha 20/10/23
Another week, another AMA session with the Waves’ founder Sasha Ivanov. This week, Sasha has prepared some updates on the ecosystem progress, answered lots of questions and had a live dialogue with the community members. Key Points:
- This week WX DAO started raising funds. Let me remind you that the main goal of WX DAO is to put the platform in the hands of the community.
- Ambassador DAO has also started its fundraising. This is a way for active members of our ecosystem to get a constant income from their activity, i.e. every member who fulfills the DAO conditions can get 10% income every month!
- We also launched the PETE Token gateway to the Etherium network today. You can already send your tokens to this network, and on Monday, this network will host the Trading Competition!
- The main thing the WX team is planning to launch is Derivatives and Futures Markets. I think this will significantly increase trading volumes on WX.
- Also a significant release will be Synthetic Tokens, the implementation of gateways for which will be extremely difficult, such as Cardano and Ripple.
- We are also expecting fiat integration from the PEPE team as well as a single USDT token! You may have noticed that we have several USDT tokens in our network that represent the liquidity of this token on the PEPE team gateways in these networks.
Q & A
Q: What will happen to Vires?
Sasha: I already mentioned what I think will happen with Vires, I think it will be transformed and relaunched. I already have an idea for a Lending Protocol with a fixed interest rate. That is, borrowers would be required to pay their debts under the penalty of foreclosure of the collateral.
Q: How will the new Neutrino Index work?
Sasha: The idea was largely borrowed from Puzzle Protocol and its liquidity pools. You can check it out to get a rough idea of how it would work. The idea is to realize SWOP pool fees, which will go to NSBT holders.
Q: When will gNSBT holders start receiving fees from the Neutrino Smart Contract again?
Sasha: I think that's the next challenge for the Neutrino team! They should implement it soon.
Q: How does WAVESDLP work?
Sasha: This is essentially an LP token of the Waves DAO treasury. Investors and miners can invest in it before the start of each KPI period, and then the resulting tokens can be exchanged for the treasury's income from the realization of the invested funds.
Q: How's the L2 blockchain development going?
Sasha: It's going great! Many mechanics have been borrowed from the ETH blockchain, so for now we're on track with the already announced release plans (L2 on TestNet at the end of October, full release in early 2024).
Q: How will the KPI of each user in Ambassador DAO be calculated?
Sasha: If the user does not repost or violates the terms of reposts, they will lose their monthly income of 10% of the locked PWR.
Q: When will the PWR token unstaking feature become available?
Sasha: Unfortunately the next-to-last PWR airdrop allowed quite a large number of bots to pass through. Therefore unstaking has become gradual and there are about 10 PWR tokens released per day, but everyone will be able to make it, just be patient.
