AMA with Sasha 27/10/23
Another week, another AMA session with the Waves’ founder Sasha Ivanov. This week, Sasha has prepared some updates on the ecosystem progress, answered lots of questions and had a live dialogue with the community members. - There have been two very important releases for Power DAO. Ambassador DAO and WX DAO are being launched right now
- WX DAO intends to make WX an even more decentralized platform, implement a roadmap and launch new products, and provide a reasonably safe way for its members to earn money.
Q & A
Q: Perhaps you have some good news on PETE? No one is trading it on Uniswap and the price is dropping.
Sasha: The trading contest with it is not over yet, but I think we should expand the marketing within the ETH blockchain a bit more.
Q: When will PETE get listed on CEXes?
Sasha: It's the next step for PETE, but I think we'll reach the $1 price within the Waves blockchain.
Q: I already have PWR tokens in staking, how do I participate in Ambassador DAO?
Sasha: Just commit PWR tokens on the page of this DAO. There's still some time left for that.
Q: Perhaps it's time we got rid of SURF? Due to its lack of special utility, it would be great to convert it to XTN or NSBT.
Sasha: At the moment, its utility is to Generate gNSBT (300 SURF = 1 gNSBT), which has yielded PWR tokens for many users with the Neutrino DAO implementation. I don't see the point of deviating from its core utility yet (Convert to XTN, when the XTN price reaches $1.15). However, if the community has other ideas, they can propose them in Neutrino DAO.
Q: When will the next distribution of revenue of the Waves DAO treasury happen?
Sasha: It should happen sometime in mid-December.
Q: Any news on L2?
Sasha: Yes, I think you'll see a new brand and marketing expansion of the L2 blockchain in the near future, along with details on its mechanics. It will essentially be an L1 platform to launch L2 blockchains.
Q: So some projects will be able to run their L2 blockchains at the expense of current miners?
Sasha: That's right! However, both sides will need to come to a consensus, the project will need to offer something to the miners, or use its own capacity.
Q: Any news on the Waves Domains situation?
Sasha: Not yet, but I think it will be resolved soon.
Q: What about the marketing of the Power DAO itself? When will the second round of the marketing campaign start?
Sasha: I think that once the WX DAO and Ambassador DAO initialisations are complete, it will be possible to focus on the marketing campaign for the protocol and Mother DAO which will aim to support the growth of the PWR token.
Q: How is the WXG token audit going?
Sasha: Perhaps there was a misunderstanding here, when I said audit I meant specifically the buyback of -WXG tokens, and it is progressing smoothly.
