AMA with Sasha 9/8/24

Another week, another AMA session with the Waves’ founder Sasha Ivanov. This week, Sasha has prepared some updates on the ecosystem progress, answered lots of questions and had a live dialogue with the community members. • Sasha will be at Istanbul Blockchain Week as the perfect place to connect with the Turkish community.
• Gateways from Waves to the Unit0 network are already on StageNet, and will be available on TestNet next week. 
• We have plans to make more gateways to third-party networks for ecosystem tokens, with appropriate listings.

Q & A

Q: I have a proposal that I would like to post on Vires Finance, however the governance panel of this protocol is not working.

Sasha: Yes, there was a third-party service used for its work, which was not paid for. So the Vires team needs to contact this service.

Q: Can you tell us about the recently announced collaboration with Lumia?

Sasha: Sure! Lumia is essentially a relaunch of Orion and intends to provide liquidity to CEx platforms on DEx. And this will be very useful for Units Network and DEx's based on Units. So once Units is launched they will help us with providing liquidity.

Q: What if Feature 23 is not accepted?

Sasha: I think in that case we will find an alternative way to resolve the situation. Besides, if it is adopted later, i.e. after the launch of Units, the positive effect of it may be even greater.

Q: Will Units' governance be based on the Power DAO protocol?

Sasha: That's right, and after the launch of Units Network, I will be actively working on evolving Power DAO.

Q: When can we get a look at the technical side of Units DAO?

Sasha: I think it will be ready in a couple of weeks. Now the main task is to integrate cross-chain contracts into DAO. Once this functionality is finished, we can expect its release.

Q: When should we expect the release of Telegram wallet for the ecosystem? 

Sasha: There are a number of people from the Waves ecosystem community working on it now, I think they will make an announcement soon.

Q: Will there be another AMA for the Russian-speaking Waves community?

Sasha: I think it's definitely worth doing now, given that the marketing promotion of the ecosystem continues.

Q: When will the Futures Market for WX.Network be released?

Sasha: The WX.Network team has recently been significantly downsized, so the pace of development has slowed down a bit, but I think that with the WX token being listed on other networks, as well as the launch of Units Network, we can expect some announcements.
